...My other one (a vintage one - what constitutes vintage??? mine is at least 30 years old  Wink ) was getting seriously see through and not doing what an apron should - keep clothes splatter free!...

That's such a cute apron! And I have lots of things that get threadbare after a while like that. Should it concern me that when it happens, I start getting excited about what I can recycle those items into next???  Embarrassed

This wasn't originally a stash project, but it took so long to complete, I think it counts.  The quilt top was sewn in July, quilted in December, and I finally finished binding it in March.

I decided to make booties to match the hat I made. I did not have a pattern or know how to turn a heel and I almost scrapped them before I finished. I made a few mistakes and had to untangle my yarn and needles on more than one occasion. Some how they turned out looking like booties. They even seem to be about the right size.

It is a very lovely blanket Gaudyknigth. Good of you to get it finished! And the boots are cute, Yesmine.
And Crafty - I love the the fabric you put together with the yellow peace-sign fabric. It is such an unusual combo, and it just work so well together.

Cute quilt Gaudiknight.

But for me, nine months would be fast to be making and finishing a quilt. I have one that still needs more work that I began February of 2011.

Sweet booties ysmeine. Smiley

Loving the apron, My mother never used one growning up and she ended up spattering things constantly. But when I got my own place I use one all the time, for cooking, baking and even for dishes. And your apron would make for a peaceful day in the kitchen.

The quilt is amazing, I would call it stash but I do agree that is a pretty quick turn around, I have a quilt top I finished in 07 that never got a back or binding.

Baby booties are so cute. Gotta love when you try something new and it works out the way you hoped.

That is a BEAUTIFUL quilt!!! I agree - a fast turn around (I still have one was crocheting on when pregnant with son... who is now almost 24 y/o!)  Wink

The booties are adorable - and they both look the same - and without a pattern! Too cool!!!!

Thank you all for the comments on my apron!
