I too, love the sleep mask. I work 3rd shift and sleep in the morning an easterly facing bedroom. I can appreciate a nice mask.

I plan to make at least two more shrines. I let my son take some of the crates as I was hoarding them, as in not using them. I have made cards and scrapbooks, but have always loved altered art. I bought the die cut as I loved it, but this was the first time to use it.

I have also hoarded the tan fabric for 10+ yrs. It is rainwear fabric and I bought all they had, in three different colors. I thought I was going to make a tent once upon a time. It wakes a good lining for waterproof bags or tool wraps lined with flannel.

I also have a large amount of white muslin as I was going to make more Renn shirts, like the one I sold right off my back.

I always save stuff I love, particularly when it comes to jewelry making!! I have boxes of "ME stash" and boxes of "EVERYTHING ELSE stash." I actually did get around to clearing out some of the me boxes (but only to make room for more...) by making some cocktail rings...

Love the domos and pandas. Bananaleg is AWESOME!

Ooh, cocktail rings. Nice!

I forgot to say i'm terrible about hoarding boxes and supplies for the perfect project. It never comes, though. I try not to hoard things as much, but it's been one of my worst habits my entire life. My brothers used to tease me mercilessly because i just couldn't let things go...

cute pandas!

You all sound so sensible about not saving for best. I must try harder!

hggm, I love the rings!
always, don't throw out your jewelry boxes, I'd trade you for them! Hee, your advent calendar idea sounds great. And I know whatever you make will be awesome!
mellybelly, I know just what you mean. I bought a roll of patterned gold and brown classy wrapping paper years ago, because I just knew I would do something with it. I've never touched it. I won't give it away, but keep saving it for some hypothetical perfect future project. I need to just pick something already!
I have been trying to use up things I'd bought with the idea of altering it later. So far I used a ----- for a swap I'm working on, and gave away an altered wall clock, and kept a fancied up teapot. And I still have three wall clocks waiting to be used!
I love the shrine, ysmeine. You did a wonderful job on it.
bananaleg, the panda stuff is adorable!

Destashed a couple of skirts I bought ages ago thinking I'd make aprons. Painted between the embroidery, then tea dyed them. I forget when I did this, could have been january? Maybe february? My brain isn't cooperating. They fit the kiddo, so yay!
