Bananaleg--that is a wonderful way to use up yarn!  What pattern is that?  I love the textures and the colors...also, I am tired of stripes as well, so the color block looks fun!

Tired of stripes are we? How about this beauty then... http://www.myzigzagstitch.com/2010/05/30/around-and-around/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:%20myzigzagstitch/RWpb%20(myzigzagstitch)

That blanket is awesome. Thanks for the link, clm.

Thanks, ladies. I didn't use a pattern for the hat. With size 9 circs, I cast on 76 stitches. Did seed stitch until it was a length I liked and then improvised the decreases.
Nice and mindless... until those decreases...

clm, you are queen of the internet, always finding the best links. Smiley The first ring of that blanket looks like a color wheel and that makes me happy. Cheesy

I'm going to rent a mini-booth at my friend's shop so hopefully that will give me the kick in the patoot that I need to get all this stash yarn stitched up. I'm thinking of doing some market bags, a few pairs of baby Chucks, and finishing off a couple of stash-ghans I have on the hook. I'd have to buy yarn to finish it, but maybe I'll make another TARDIS afghan. I've still got a skein of blue ombre just lying around. I'm just not sure if people in my little cow-town would be into Dr. Who.

Brackish Potato love the afghan so pretty and if you wanted to make one to sell you could always make the felt part easily removable that way if someone wanted it with out you could do that. I love it though.
