Yes, you are odd, but that is besides the point... Grin

I think either one would be fine, really...the yarn is just gorgeous...

I love the bags, and car blanket, and the bow perler necklace.  All so cute!  I'm working on a couple things and will hopefully have some projects to post by the end of the week.

That really stinks to lose something in the mail that you worked hard on. Did a swap once and my partner sent 2 poppets that got lost in the mail. I still hope someday they will show up.

And love the blanket you made so cute if you want to use more stash I almost always make a matching hat, wont use up much but every little bit helps right.

Love the shopping bags the white one with flowers is my fave.

Oh, no! MiLady, that's terrible!

gaudi, maybe it's just my newfound love for the linen stitch, but i love that one. I understand what you mean about it looking busy, but i still prefer it.
That said, the yarn is awesome and looks great with either stitch.

I finished a couple things this weekend. First this market bag. I've had this started and sitting in my stash for so many months. I needed to just pull it out and finish it. So i did! It's a bit longer than i thought it would be, but that's alright. I like the one strap, and it's long enough to pull over my head.

I finally finished off one of those pound of yarn things with this bag. Feels good.

A while back, i had this pretty blue Vanna's Choice, and i decided to cast on for a hat. I didn't know how much i had in the ball, but i just wanted to knit with it. It became clear i had nowhere near enough, but i didn't want to do stripes, so i just kept on with it. Then i saw it next to some dark blue Super Saver, and i loved the colors together. I finished off the Vanna's Choice, and then finished the hat with the Super Saver.

This shows the colors a little better.
I love the color block-y-ness of it, and i think i'm going to make more. It will be fun using my stash to find some cool color combinations.

bananaleg great hat!

gaudiknight can I say I prefer the one on the right, linen stitch, but can see the yarn worked up in something other than stockinette too? When I have a yarn that is doing that, I try something like this. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/flammegarn-socks

MiLady, I am so sorry to hear that.  Hopefully the post will find it again.

Bananaleg--that is a wonderful way to use up yarn!  What pattern is that?  I love the textures and the colors...also, I am tired of stripes as well, so the color block looks fun!

That blanket is awesome. Thanks for the link, clm.

Thanks, ladies. I didn't use a pattern for the hat. With size 9 circs, I cast on 76 stitches. Did seed stitch until it was a length I liked and then improvised the decreases.
Nice and mindless... until those decreases...
