I made this one for my daughter for Valentine's. It is wider and a little busier than the other.


This one I wore to a dinner, I think I will keep it for myself.


Both of these are darker than the first. I used up three skeins and all my pearl buttons.

here's a summer sleeping bag I made for Brady and its dotty! perhaps not quite polka dots, but its dots



I have also completed a hoop for a private swap, so no pics yet, but its used a bunch of embroidery floss, some fabric and a hoop, all from stash.

ysmeine--love the scarf--I saw a similar scarf at Macy's but it was not as full and detailed...$60!

My younger sister gave me 7 pairs of tall skinny girl jeans today to "make something with". I'm a short fat girl so I wouldn't be able to wear them. I just need to decide what to make now...

Ok--I need to know what pattern you used for the high tops!!!  They are just too cute!  I have already made cowboy boots but now I need to make tons of other baby booties!

I used this pattern by Teresa Richardson. She has a written pattern and a Youtube tutorial, which came in very handy because the booties start out with a foundation hdc and she shows exactly how to do that in the video. I'm really pleased with how they turned out, but I think next time I want to try these. They're a lot more complex and detailed, so I didn't have enough time to stitch them up before the baby shower.

If you have no issues cutting them up you can make awesome patchwork things with them. Or cut the legs off and make a bag or basket

I just ruined a pair of jeans, too.  (The phrases "this day has been well and truly seized" and "wait, how did I kill another pair of pants" go together in my world)  I'm debating whether I should save them for future craftiness, or discard them.  The problem is, I don't usually craft with denim, but there's so much usable fabric there.  This is how stashes get out of hand...
