I love those coasters! In fact, a long time ago I made a few out of my own scraps, but they weren't circles:

See how they're all scrunched up and not flat? They were so small that I didn't quilt them and they've been used a LOT since then!  Grin I just throw them in the wash when I'm done. But that's ok, I love them anyway.

nisforneville, what are these destash lots? I am intrigued...

I agree with Belladune, those are a great idea, ysmeine. I may also have to steal that idea.

Ooh, those are cute, CLM!

that1girl, the hearts are cute. The hat and mitts look great. Did you use a pattern? I need to start practicing my colorwork.

That hat is gorgeous, beautiful.

And from the sublime to the ridiculous, I've been destashing some of my mistakes and this one definitely counts as red...

the set is cairn by Ysolda Teague. this is the easiest colorwork. you switch colors every couple of rows and use slip stitch.

Awesome, thanks!

Antidigger, seriously love that whole story.

My church is having a big Super Bowl party today, and since my dad is helping organize, I was kind of expected to help with the trivia prizes. I tried to make a hat, but didn't have much time... So when I gave it a shot, it didn't turn out well. So, I made a coffee cozy.

Nothing spectacular, but I'm really trying to destash my red heart super saver...

And I finished the beards and mustaches!

My friend has been teaching herself to crochet and has been making gnome hats. Those kids are going to look so cute!

it's basically just crafters selling their stash from leftover projects in lots, like a box full of yarn or whatever craft supply.

I used several yarns from my stash to make this scarf. I still need to tack down the details better. I was just so excited to post it. It is made to look like irish crochet. I love the colors and textures in this.

Still no red, polka dot, or birds but at least I am destashing.
