I keep those Chinese calendars...what a clever use for display!

I also love patchwork--your curtains turned out nice...

antidigger--you are a cardmaking machine!

A craftster member has a mini tutorial on making your own fabric organizers!  Check out her post! (and drool over her stash!):

I made another practice scarf. I did add in some end stripes, hemmed it and wove in the warp ends. The problem with this one is that I used a warp that was not strong enough. I broke a few strands and it started to get more narrow as I went along. That is why it is more of a scarflette, I decided to cut my losses.

I was thinking of mitering the corners like a tie. What do you think?

ysmeine - I think that is gorgeous!  Fabulous job - I love the brooch you paired with it, too.

I agree, it's beautiful. Just as it is- I would vote for plain ends, not mitred.

Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

The fabric organizing and ATC display are brilliant.

That purple scarf is gorgeous!

I can imagine the stuffie and it sounds perfect for the kiddos!

Here is my latest project -- I upcycled some upholstery samples and made a purse.

It's entirely from stash, except for four lobster-claw-type clasps that attach the purse straps.

Maybe my favorite part, is that there is a pocket inside that is the PERFECT size for my Iphone!

It's definitely "for me" and kinda "striped" (in a way... if you interpret it loosely!) I've had a sizable stash of upholstery samples for a long time, always intending to make purses out of them but never quite getting around to it. The DeStash-Along was just the "nudge" that I needed to get the long-dormant project underway! Thanks!

Love that bag! I like purses are are just one big compartment on the inside.

Finished another mini project last night. Used up some of my felt stash. (can't go down that aisle at Hobby Lobby) I made a needle book for me. I just can't keep sticking my hand into my pin holder & coming up with a needle. Not the best way to store them.

I'm using some of the yarn left over from the scarves & making headbands. Hopefully I'll be able to sell them at work. And I am going to make some for my Dad to take to a soup kitchen he volunteers for. Maybe they'll be able to give them to someone who needs them.

Incredible purse there endymion.  I would never have thought to piece so many samples together like that. Your purse looks professional.

The Flower Headbands are great that1girl. Is that from Creativeyarns, Zen and the Art of Handicraft? Lovely scarf too.
