Love that perpetual calendar!

I get these wonderful uniforms because I am a Correctional Officer by trade. The offenders make them & then we have to fix what they made. I end up cutting off quite a bit of fabric when I do the alterations. I've been making dog toys out of it for my 2 dogs. The material does hold up to some good old wear & tear. Next I think I'm going to start using some of it to make stuffies for my Sister to use in her job. She's the Nursery Coordinator for her church. This material should definitely be able to stand up to toddlers! hahaha

I've started work on my next scarf to make on the knifty knitter. This one is going to be a pink/cream combo. It's for a coworker to give to her wife who is fixing to go overseas to work for a year. I better get cracking on it.

More destashing again this year  This is now my 3rd or 4th year and the stash still doesn't look as if it is getting any smaller.

January is the month that I spend time making tree ornaments for next Christmas. When I get a chance I will show some photos of the ornaments that I have been making everything for these comes out of the stash.  Nothing new has been purchased for these ornaments.

I love the calendar!

I still have to decide whether to finish or frog the giant afghan o' doom I started last year. I am crocheting it lengthwise, and I made it much, much longer that it needs to be. So what I have so far is longggg and skinny. I wanted to make sure it would be long enough to cover our feet when we use it, and I outdid myself.  Cheesy

I really like the concept of this simple afghan. It is very much a stashbuster and if I ever get through with afghan o' doom, this one will made next:
