The fabric is a polyester dress fabric I got given a load of scraps around a yard long but irrecuglar shaped and only about 6" and the widest so I was at a bit of a loss what to do with it but when I decided I wanted to make a dragon I thought the snakeskin would work OK, its scaly enough for my liking  Grin

The lace rosettes are so pretty. And the poppet is fab! I can't wait to see how she turns out!
I like the lapghans and the pillowcases too. I really like the fabrics on the second one.

Poppet is exceedingly cool!
Nice lapghans! And if your grandparents give you more yarn, give it away! We won't tell.
There was a bunch of yarn at Goodwill the other day, and I didn't buy any of it for my daughter. She has a few bags worth already from-yep, her grandparents.
And, I like the pillowcases. That seems like a great way to use up fabric, and they're fun.

I have been Slacker Von Slackington for a while now! I did make a swap package 98% from my stash. Even used a piece of fabric for part of the packaging. It was something cool that I knew I'd never use, so why not? No pics, it's still in transit.

Lovely pillows - I think I will steal the idea. And I really like your dragon-poppet. Are you sure she is going to have hair? Dragons don't, do they?

I don't think dragon have huge boobies either but she's got those  Grin To be honest I'm undecided about hair. I'm making her sort of Xena Princess warrior style clothing and might just make a helmet instead of hair  Smiley

My stash grew again today  Grin but I know have  a stash of something I didn't have before - ribbons - all kinds of lovely ribbons  Cheesy my niece works for a company that makes ribbon and was told she could have these if they'd be useful as they were just going in the skip  Shocked The box is 2ftx1ftx1ft and it was FULL. She took out all the blue & pink for her friend who makes diaper cakes and then some for herself to use on gifts and the rest came to her beloved Auntie Kook  Grin

there is wired chiffon, velvets, grosgrain, novelty prints (purple butterflies!!!  Grin Grin Grin) and plain polyester and some cotton too.
Quite a few are full spools still factory sealed. I love my family  Grin
