Isn't it always the way: you stop a project because you haven't got everything you need for it, it gets left in a pile, then, ages later, you pick it up again having forgotten that there was something you hadn't got. And if you're especially like me, then you've bought several of the missing item in the meantime, but used them all up on other projects.

The doggy bed idea was rejected  Sad apparent;y he's happy enough on an old duvet, I'm sure he is but a new bed would look nicer  Smiley

Always, EIGHTEEN quilts to finish???  Shocked my word that makes me feel so much better about the projects I have only partially complete  Cheesy

don't all throw things at me, I know this is a tad early in the year but I wanted to try something with the wired Xmas ribbons.

I need nicer bells than these shop cat collar ones, this first angel has a flat head. I have another one drying where I've used 1" ribbon and a bead for a head.

always - a list of ufo's sounds like an excellent organisational tool. I think I will need to have an extra category called uso's (unstarted objects). I have a plastic tub full of projects with all the supplies for each one in a bundle, ready to be made.

Kookaloo - don't worry about starting Christmas things, I have a bunch of supplies for making stuff (last year) and didn't get it done in time for the holidays so I'm thinking of doing it early this year!

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

Good idea with the list of UFO's and USO's. And you could make a note about which suplies was needed to finish each of them. I will try to make one and post it here, just to challenge my self.
Kookaloo, I like the little angel, and agrees the bell neds to be prettier. Maybee you could use a bean or pearl for the head, too.
By the way - I think it is the rigth time of year to start making Christmass ornaments. We all get so bussy in the fall.

Allways - 18 quilts sounds like a lot. But compared to how many you have finished, it is not so bad, rigth)

Kookaloo - I agree about the destashing rule. When we have 7 of something, it is because it is a potential - ve make usefull things of them. But my friend didn't se it that way. I'm sure she didn't understand why I would want to have so much fabric  Undecided

I need to start thinking of Christmas! Cheesy

I have wanted a quilted tree skirt forever...

kookla--where did you get the idea to use the ribbon like that?  I think some sparkly ornaments would really dress up my tree!

That's pretty insightful, rlb. I totally don't get the purse thing! Cheesy

I finally finished my Granny Circle blanket. I had to frog it a few times and do some math to get the increases right. Sneaky crochet, making me think!

Beautiful afghan Brackish Potato. I love anything rainbow.

My doctor has put me in a thumb splint/brace so I am able to do little crochet, knitting or hand sewing right now. The only things I really have time for at this moment so my crafting may be nothing for a while.

Oh well, I'll just come here and look at all of the pretties. Smiley
