I whipped together this tunic and pair of pants last night.  They were not meant to be worn together but when my daughter saw them this morning she requested to wear them both.  Wink  She has also requested more pants.  I'll take this as a compliment...she is incredibly picky about the comfort and cut of her pants.  She refuses to wear jeans.

The tunic was from this tutorial http://shwinandshwin.blogspot.com/2011/04/she-will-be-painting-roses-red-part-two.html.  I love the cut of this tunic...lots of room for tumbling and rolling.
The pants were from this seller on etsy. http://www.etsy.com/listing/83706356/mattie-mae-big-pocket-girls-ankle-pants  The pattern was super simple to follow and true to size.

And without further ado...the pics.  Smiley

Mid Song

Close up of pocket...two of them on each side, nice and deep for collecting rocks and sticks.  I do believe this one currently holds a pencil.  Wink

Back of tunic with button

Apparently this outfit makes her want to belt out songs like she is in a broadway musical.  Grin

Thanks for looking!

The top looks very comfy...both look like they would be comfy for us big people, too! Cheesy

What fun prints...love the tunic back with the huge button!

Seconding this sentiment. I love her singing and completely understand the need for 'comfortable clothing'.

She looks adorable!  I love ViolaLee's patterns and bought this pattern and a couple others recently.

Do you need a cute purse to go with that outfit?

They both are fun pieces.  I like the fabric you made the tunic from.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

Thanks, everyone!   Grin

She does make it easy to make her clothing.   The appreciation and excitement.  If only everybody was this excited when I made them stuff.  Wink
