I thought I would finish over the weekend but I sprained my ankle instead Sad
By Tuesday I felt better and had nearly finished the extra when I decided I did not like it. So I have been going back and forth about whether I can fix it or should start something new. I think I finally have a plan to fix it.

Dang--sorry to hear about your ankle, EllaRain.  That's definitely an unexpected setback.  I'm glad to hear you are back to crafting again, though!  And don't worry, there's still lots of crafting time left.

So, no snow day, but a flood day!  Oh wait o_o  I hope I have all the supplies I need on hand, not sure when I'll be able to escape from the island.

Oh Ellarain, I hope it heals up quickly. Don't worry about the extra, just send it anyway, I'm sure I'll love it.

EllaRain, I'm sorry to hear (read) about your ankle, ouch! Hope it will feel better soon!
And I have that too sometimes, I make something and than I don't like it. For me, most of the times I will like it after a day or so... I don't know maybe I have to get used to it, hahaha. Or I come up with an idea how to redo/reuse it!

I finished yesterday evening and today I SENT!!!! I like this part and I don't like this part... now I don't have anything to do..sort of... and I hate waiting....

ARGH! My computerised sewing machine has stopped sewing buttonholes  Cry I've had to drag my 20 year old one out of storage & hope it's up to the task.

I *have* to get a new sewing machine if the 20yr old ones will do button holes. Mine weighs a ton and does straight stitch. Sad

I replaced my 20 year old Kenmore with a Babylock last year.  Best. Decision. Ever.

I'm having a hard time committing to my package haha  Smiley  I keep making different little things and trying to decide what Deece will like best...  Last night I *tried* to take a break from the swap - I made a baby sling for one of my coworkers but then just haaaad to make another little extra that I have had in mind for a few days...  Was a late night for me! Smiley

If I can convince myself that enough is enough, I will be sending tomorrow *fingers crossed*

It seems like you can only get Babylock overlockers or an embellisher machine over here in the UK not a regular sewing machine  Huh
I'd love my overlocker to thread itself with a whoOOOsh of air!
