One more. . . I thought for sure there would be 40 when I got home from work. I guess that means I will be checking in obsessively for the rest of the night  Wink. All of the "practice" bags are lovely.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

alright... I did it, a stripppy bag, with clean finnnnnished seams on the inside with no serger needed.... no zigzag either, so for all of you wonderful craftsters who claim to only be able to do strait stitches... this is for you

little secret.... its just french seams that are top stitched down!!!

.... I did take pictures along the way, but those will come in a little while..... right now i need to feed my kids and try to get them motivated for the fact that school starts tomorrow after a long 2 and a half weeks off!!

and where is that happy #40??

I can't believe how fast this filled up!! What a cool swap.  Well, I am not a seamstress by any means......and so I am even more thankful for Miz Leslie for doing a personal swap with me!!  This being my first swap ever, and since I can't officially swap for a few more weeks, I thought I would do some practice to make sure I could sew a straight line!!  Sooooo.....without further ado...drum roll please... please welcome the FIRST bag I have ever sewn in my LIFE!!!

Can't wait to see what everyone else does for their partners!!
