I've been posting on Craftster since I was a teenager, and I like to come back every so often to check it out... the community doesn't seem as "busy" as it used to be, but I am hoping that with the whole crafty homemade DIY movement that has slowly become more popular, maybe people will come back!

I want to show you something I made for a friend of mine for Christmas. It took a long time to make, especially all those bead charms with the swirly wire!

I made the Liquorice Allsorts from polymer clay, and the Allsorts with the pink and blue sprinkles on them were also made from polymer clay with the addition of microbeads... or holeless beads. Whatever they are called. >_<

Then I made lots of bead charms using wire, which I made into a swirly with a pair of pliers, added the bead, and made a little eyelet hole at the top. I used pink, yellow, black, white, and striped acrylic beads as well as some tiny black seed beads.

I like how it turned out. I made one years ago for the same person, but it was one of the first things I ever made from polymer clay and looks kinda crap-tacular compared to this.

...Next time I will make the Allsorts less shiny, though. I used three coats of glaze, but I should have used Satin instead of Gloss. Aw well. Tongue

That bracelet looks delicious!

I am hoping that all the Craftsters are too busy crafting to get online.
Maybe...?

I love the microbead texture.  Did you bake them and then add the beads, or do it the other way around?
