1/0/0

Hello! My name is Kassie and Im a 21 year old wife to my best friend & high school sweetheart, Jake, as well as mommy to little Natalia who turned 1 on New Years Eve. =) My family and I live in Idaho and since winter has begun Im ready for all sorts of indoor crafty goodness to begin. Since weve been married we have only been renting homes so I havent yet settled onto specific design ideas or colors for different rooms. Ultimately, I would like my house to have a light and airy feeling that comes from white and greys with minimal color accents.
Im a very visual person so I keep a lot of ideas on my Pinterest. Generally if I pin it, I would like it to be pretty similar to the thumbnail. =)

Crafted Items Id Like:
-Embroidered Linen Table Runner similar to http://pinterest.com/pin/151222499957472512/
(Painting the design would also be okay if youre good at it)

Hello everyone!  My name is Jessica and I live in Northern Ontario, Canada with my partner and two young kids.  I am passionate about Energy Healing.  I'm a Usui Reiki Master in the process of getting a home-based business started and I'm also pursuing studies in the Intuitive and Natural Health fields.  Areas of focus at this time include meditation and herbalism.

If you'd like to help me get started by crafting business-related gifts, that would be appreciated.  Just contact me for the details.

Themes that may help to inspire you:  Energy Healing, Reiki, Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, Herbalism, Ayurveda, Vegan, Homesteading, Consciousness, Chakras.

I'm fairly health-oriented and am becoming increasingly conscious about what I eat.  I follow a vegan diet and try to eat as naturally as I can.  Please keep this in mind if you'd like to send food.

All colours that have that burnt tone to them are great and solid prints or those with very subtle patterns are most appealing.  I prefer natural fabrics/fibers.

I'm open to receiving items listed on or inspired by my Pinterest list (http://pinterest.com/dreadlocklove/pins/).  I also have an Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/people/gatheredroots/favorites?ref=si_fav) and Amazon.ca (http://www.amazon.ca/registry/wishlist/35Y5I8FSK9POE) list.

Thanks for choosing me!

2/0/0

My name is Robin.  I live in Portland, OR (U.S.) and I am a full time PhD student.  I am also the mother of preschooler extraordinaire, Aria Jae.   I love handmade and I love surrounding my child with handmade. My pinterest is full of stuff I'd love so feel free to surprise me with something off one of my boards. http://pinterest.com/rlynn/

If you decide to craft for me: my favorite colors are blue and green.  I love earthy and jewel tones.   I wear a lot of black and sometimes a bit of grey and every once in a while something red, but mostly I wear black.  I like the look of steampunk and Gibbous jewelry and clothing.

If you decide to craft for Aria: her favorite colors are the rainbow, bright and cheery, but she leans more towards blue.  She loves pirates, robots, monsters, rainbows, and elephants.  She also loves anatomy; her favorite Christmas gift was a model of a human body complete with squishy organs.  We dont really do princess stuff around here but we do like fairies, sprites, and gnomes.  I have loads of things I would love for her pinned on my pinterest, including clothing, toys, and accessories. The only request I have is please no stuffies unless they are super teeny tiny or something I have pinned...she has so many so we are trying to slow it down on how many new stuffies find a home here. Big WISHES in bold.

Crafts
For Aria
-1/18 scale dollhouse stuff (she has some calico critters; I think that is the appropriate scale)
-Fairy/Butterfly wings
- tees, tunics, pants, or dresses for Aria (4T)
here are a few links to some things i really like but you don't have to make these exact things...I'm including it for inspiration about the types of clothing and fabric/color choices I like.  there are more examples in my pinterest.
pants
hat
more clothing ideas
-Pantaloons (4T)
-altered hoodie (5T)
-appliqued, stenciled, embellished tees, etc... for Aria (4T)
-Batman tee (you know with simple bat symbol) (4T)
-Spiderman tee (with simple spider symbol) (4T)
-Godzilla tee (4T)
-Wall art (her room is mostly blue and green, but we've been adding loads of rainbow fun)
-Teeny tiny crocheted animals (she has piggies already)
-Something elephant; Aria loves them (anything but please no stuffies unless it teeny and tiny)
-Something anatomy inspired and appropriate for an almost 4 year old; she loves learning about the human body
-Something galaxy inspired and appropriate for an almost 4 year old; she loves learning about the planets and stars
-ATC binder with the clear plastic sleeves (yep, my 3 year old is making and swapping ATCs. Cheesy )
-baby hair clips - Aria recently got a pixie hair cut, she needs small clippies like the kind made for baby hair, we prefer simple rather than over the top....maybe small bows would be cute.  Cheesy
-Some sort of cozy for her LeapPad Explorer w/touchscreen, maybe with some sort of strap or handle for carrying and pockets w/zipper or Velcro to store her extra games (PM for measurements)

For me
-Jewelry for me (please check out my pinterest for ideas; Im pretty particular about my jewelry.  It doesnt have to be an exact replica but my pinterest will give you a feel for my tastes)
-acorn jewelry, beads or felted, I like either style
-Fold over yoga band skirts for me (PM for measurements) Here's a tutorial
-Circle skirt for me.  Here's a tutorial
-bags with sturdy handles as I would like to use them to haul my school stuff to and from campus
Bags I like posted here
-wool dryer balls
-Fun Magnets (Prefer super strong magnets on back please like the rare earth kind)
-Handmade buttons (wood, poly clay, resin, etc...)
-Laptop cozy (PM for measurements)
-Hoop art or any wall art, inspiration can be found on my art board
-Hair pretties (I think I have some on my pinterest accessories board but again I like steampunk and gibbous inspired things)
-woodland creature and the forest themed whimsy jar
-Reusable "Paper" Towels (Don't really care what material/color/pattern as long as its absorbent, can be the snappie roll up kind or just loose ones)
-Jewelry wall organizer (I have some pinned on my pinterest probably under my Home board, but I need it to store necklaces and some earrings; extra coolness points if it has a way to stash cuffs and bracelets)
-no slip dish towels like this or this
-scrappy placemats...I like these a lot.  they do not have to match and one at a time as a claim is fine.
-Door Draft Buster like this
-Cami Lace Bands

For Aria's Fourth Birthday Party
Besides Aria's first birthday party, her traditional Korean dol, I have not made a very big deal out of her birthdays.  Aria really likes the Care Bears, but I don't really want to do a cartoon themed party.  Instead, I'd like to throw her a spectacular birthday full of rainbows, hearts, and stars (all things she associates with Care-a-lot).  Her birthday is not until the end of March, but knowing me I'll be neck deep in school work and grading papers so I could use all the help I can get.  Cheesy  Everything on this list is a big WISH.

-something like this cake topper but with short brown hair and brown eyes and maybe a rainbow heart balloon instead of a kite?
-scrappy ribbon garland...I need five of them now(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) about 9 feet each.  These can of course be done in separate claims. Kartiana added scrap fabric and other fibers...it looked great; feel free to do the same.  Cheesy

More to be added as I come up with more ideas; also feel free to check out my pinterest; the board titled party ideas is chock full of rainbow delight.  Cheesy

Thanks much!! Cheesy

I claim atsuko for some of the supplies on her list - Space Invaders Fabric, Felt Stuffies Pattern & Lego silicone mold!!

1st claim / 0 sent / 0 received

Happy New Year, ladies!

My name is Karrie and I'm in Canada.  I am a work-at-home mom of 2.  My daughter is 6 and my son just turned 4.  Hubby & I have been together for 14 years already - time just flies by...  My work is wedding stationery, so I get to craft all day long (well, not really - I also have to do the books, take care of the kids and clean the house, but you get the idea)...

I love fun, bright colors that make you feel like summer - maybe 'cuz I wish our winters were shorter!  Turquoise, Pink, Blue, Orange, Green.  And I also love contrasting those bright colors with neutrals like Natural Linen (my favorite look of all), or even dark brown, charcoal gray or black.  I often lean towards simpler or "cleaner" designs.   My favorite fabrics tend to be "Mod", and again - when combined with linen I just flip for them!!

I am a big reader, and love the Fever series, True Blood, and will always love Twilight and Harry Potter.  I pretty much read anything that's recommended to me.  And as far as crafting goes, paper crafting is my main activity, but I also love to knit, sew and cross-stitch.

I am a chatty one, so please feel free to PM me if you have any questions about your claim (or potential claim).  I usually respond the same day...

Crafted Items
- We're going to Mexico next month, so I'd love a sewn sunglass case, or a crocheted bathing suit bag (to hold the wet suits but let them air out more quickly) - or heck, even a crocheted tank top would be awesome!

- Beaded zipper pulls that I can use on my crafted projects - mostly for zip pouches and bags, but I might use some on my daughter's dresses and skirts, too!

Im going to claim whats_her_name for some coasters and possible other items as well

This is my first claim
none has been sent
none has been received

Hello there !!
Im Tammy.  Im 39 and im married to a great man and mom to three handsome boys in Northern California. I moved here from OH and love it!! We just purchased our first home and are thrilled!!  I like to sew, quilt.  I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit.  Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well.  I am allergic to nickel.

Here are my wishes
Anything off my wist list is great!!

Mediums (more can be found in my list  Grin)
~~Jewelry (chokers, bracelets, earrings but please no nickel posts)
~~Aprons!!  Even though I sew them I would love to see what others come up with!!  I would also like two childrens apron (both are under 12yrs old)  Transformers and Spiderman a plus!! (one claim at a time is fine needless to say  Grin)
~~My MIL is a bingo fanatic!!!  A bingo bag or a nice seat cushion would be great for a gift.
~~New purse  I am in need of a large school bag/tote!!  The strap on mine is starting to come loose.
~~Handwarmers like the ones offered at Hot Topic.com. Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.
~~Crazy Quilted Purse.  Or any purse made by you!!
~~Regency or Victorian era Reticule  (have received but more are always welcome here!!)
~~Petticoat (cotton or cotton blend please) either knee or ankle length with some fullness to it as I like poufy skirts !! I actually wear these a lot!! (Im 5'5 email for length) (received one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)
~~I would love some soft wool socks!!  Size 7 feet
~~I have a weird obsession with knitted cuffs!! I love them!!  Chocolate brown, red, mustard yellow.
~~ Anything that can help me decorate my Victorian inspired sewing room
~~ Would love a first aid kit that I can keep in my car.  Can be of any medium just as long as its a bit "fun" to look at and have. After all first aid is bad enough!!   Something really creative (thats why i asking.  I cant think of anything lol)

Im also looking for a sign that says "Please no solicitors or religious groups"  I have people of one kind or another knocking at my door constantly and it makes me rather uncomfortable.

Im looking for a sign that we can hang on our front door.  Something that says "Kitties bellies are (one side says empty and the other says full) that way we can turn the empty and full part around so we know if they have been fed yet or not (sometimes we or our kids feed them without us knowing).  a cute cat would be great.  All creative mediums welcomed!!   Pending thank you!!!!

Crafted Items~~

KNITTED AND CROCHETED

I love this shawl and I am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/  Im not picky about color.  Would be just happy to even have one.

SEWN

**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho.  This is basically what it is)  Here is a link to the pattern http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg  and here is an example of what it looks like http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm Measurements will be provided.  Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards.  I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects.  (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern.  OR If someone with any drafting skills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)

Primitive Raggedy Ann doll (An example is in my wists)

Victorian caplet.  At least waist length please email for length.

Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed.  Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.

I would love some embroidered handkerchiefs. Monogrammed with my initials would be nice too!! (received more is welcomed)

Victorian slippers.  This pattern is from 1864
http://www.victoriana.com/VictorianShoes/victorianslipperpattern.html

Im looking for special kind of apron for my husband.  He cooks the eggs at breakfast time and is a ninjitsu martial artist.  I would love an embroidered apron that has a ninja/martial artist holding a spatula in each hand and says "Egg Master" underneath.  Fabric and colors are open as long as its durable and holds up.

Other Crafts~~~
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye).  Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!!  Or soap supplies/kit as I would love to learn how to make my own.  Plain Pre-made soap bars (cold press i think they are called) that are ready to have scents, colors, herbs ect melted and added in are appreciated too as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house.  <USA only>   Cry

Room sprays, bubble baths (im looking for some really good foamy bubbles!!).

Bath bombs.  Also jars of bath salts would be fantastic as well. Im good for now!! Thanks!!

Im looking for some scented oils.  I would rather these be handmade or from specialty shops and not from stores like joanns or hobby lobby ect.

Hand crafted candles are great too. Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like).  Im also interested in the scented candle chunks that you can melt and scent your house with.  I have received some but always appreciate more!!

Whimsey jar are really fun!!

Im loving the moon jars!! Would love to have one!! (pending thanks Monica)

Im looking for a serving tray that I can bring snacks from the kitchen to the living room.  Asian or Victorian influence a real plus.  Ive seen some nice ones made from frames (glass removed)

Im also looking for a picture frame.  about 1.5 inches or more wide/thick on the sides.  What I would like is a thin wooden back fitted to it. I dont need the glass for it.  An old vintage frame would be preferred for this.  Im going to use it as a center piece tray for candles (if you can visualize it will lay flat on the table) I can take a pic of the pic in my book if you would like to see my inspiration.

Shower curtain.  Victorian style please!! Please contact for colors.

My 18 year old loves Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas so anything with him on (appropriate for a guy) would be fantastic

Handcrafted Jewelry with Victorian influence

Im looking for a table runner for our new table we recently purchased.  Looking for something, of course Victorian style as well.  Measurements can and will be provided.  Want something rich looking but affordable to make!!  Also looking for new fabric dinner napkins (18").

~~Supplies~~

Sewing items~~ Anything related to sewing is welcome!!  Trims, fabric, thread ect.(Gently used too)
Im also interested in any older sewing supplies as well from antiques stores and such (I have a tracing wheel i bought for $4 so they can be affordable).  Patterns (Burda Mag, Modern, Historic and Historic inspired too)!!  I need envelopes with a size 14 & 16 included in the envelope for dresses and tops and a 16 for skirts.  Thanks!!
Vogue~~ .. .2884...2968...1239 ... 8352...8003,,,v1178,,,v1172

He is a fan of Bruce Lee and any DVD (he has VHS) movies or any craft with him inspired would be wonderful!!  Or perhaps a stenciled t-shirt of Bruce Lee.  He would be thrilled to receive something just for him (It also continues him to encourage me to swap.  Ya know totally his idea)

Also I would love to be able to get him a hooded jacket with a nin symbol on it!! Stenciled or embroidered (Will send link to a pic if needed).  Does not need to be a crafted hoodie.  Purchased is perfectly fine!!
