I have 5 empty ribbon spools of different sizes sitting on my desk, i want to recycle them but i cant think of how i want to do it, or wat i will use them for. Help!

well, no one seems to have any ideas for my empty spools, but I came up with the idea of taking one end of the spool off and using it as a lid for a jar, it looks great, any other ideas?

You found a great idea to recycle that ribbon spool. I would have probably just put something else on the old spool. Came out very pretty and very useful.

Answering my own question again. Using empty cardboard ribbon spools, can be turned into a mini top hat! ill post pics soon.

I've seen them turned into pincushions. Stuff the empty space between the top & bottom so the stuffing puffs out a little bit. (optional- glue some more stuffing on top) Cover with pretty fabric.
