Your shrug turned out really nice. I keep thinking about making one for me.

It looks so good. I am super jealous. My attempt at the circular shrug was not pretty.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

You've totally inspired me to go back and finish a shrug I started a couple years ago too!

Really cute shrug - I like the button detail.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Can I just ask, is it hard using a massive circular needle? 'cos I made the drops circle crochet jacket and that was difficult when it got really big.

Thank you all for the lovely comments!  Kiss

Can I just ask, is it hard using a massive circular needle? 'cos I made the drops circle crochet jacket and that was difficult when it got really big.

The pattern was designed by julsey723 and Keridiana originally here on Craftster. I recently tried searching for it again and couldn't find it on here, but it is on Ravelry (listed as Circular Shrug by Julia Allen).

I actually didn't used circular needles.  I found these flex needles on clearance at Joann's a few years ago.  http://www.clover-usa.com/product/453579/3017/_/Takumi_Bamboo_Knitting_Needles_FLEX_%2820_INCH%29  They worked rather well.  I hope that helps!
