Awhile back I posted this, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=391221.msg4633766#msg4633766 which inspired a few of you to try your own koi inspired purses


Now I've made this one for a Christmas gift from my aunt to my cousin





the back on this one is flat, not scales

This is also very pretty. Do you use pictures of real koi for making the spot pattern, or do you design them yourself?

This one was a request from a family member, so it teeeeechnically isn't a koi pattern...but for the other purses, I do look up photos online and work from there
