This was my Christmas present to my sister Maria. In the beginning, I was going to make her a blanket, but sadly I wasn't able to finish it (I'll keep on working on it though!) Anyways in my Engineering class, we were asked to bring a piece of wood that was a certain length and were given the option to either engrave something on it or make a jewelry box. I decided to make the jewelry box for my sister. Once the jewelry box was done, I took it home to paint. Just in case you can't tell, the sides are fish swimming in water and the top is a tree surrounded by black and blue. I'm extremely happy on how it turned out  Cheesy Here it is:

I bought some nice jewelry I found in the flea market and put it inside. She loved it.... Grin
But just so you know: I DID NOT HAND CARVE THIS!!! A machine did this, after I put in all the right measurements in the program. The only thing I did myself was painting it.
