Daughter's BF loves Super Mario Brothers. So I made him a Mario scarf for Christmas.

This is worsted weight yarn, with a plain black back, so it's super warm.

Thanks! It was a fun knit (except for all the bobbins hanging off the back of that thing as I was knitting! Whew!) and he really loved it.

Did you use a pattern or make it from scratch?

The OH would love one of those

Thanks, everyone!

@skittlebub, yes and no to the pattern. I did create 5 graphed pages, but then I ended up adjusting some of them more than a little as I knit. It's knitted from the long side, since I tried knitting from end to end and the characters just didn't look right.

All the charts are hand drawn and I'm trying to recreate them in an electronic document so I can post them.

Sure! These are a couple I took when I finished. I'll be taking some better shots to go with the charts soon.

So cool!

I love vintage video game crafts. I made my own Super Mario Bros blanket.

Crafts are a great way to honor the magic vintage video games.
