My boyfriend and I just bought our first apartment and I've been so excited to get to decorate it the way I want, after spending a few years renting small, boring apartments with all white walls. Recently I found this tutorial on craftster: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=383612.0 and decided to something similar in our bedroom, and this is how it came out

It took me just over 3 hours to tape the pattern, and about the same time to paint it

I had a mirror lying around with a plain wooden frame, so I used the leftover paint to paint the frame and hung it on the opposite wall

what do you think ?  Smiley

This turned out great! The paint colors is subtle and really makes the design stand out.

Congrats.  I think the color scheme matches well with the walls and that you did a great job.

This is a wonderful way to draw attention to a wall and add some DRAMA while still using neutral tones.  It looks fabulous!
