My niece is a very artistic young teen who lived across the country from me. In order to encourage not only her creative side, but also a form of communication between us, I made her a box to introduce her to artist trading cards for her Christmas present. It included the box, an ephemera box, pens, atc blanks, 6 atc's that my daughters and I made, and a short explanation of atc's. 



This is the top of the box - there is a shiny mica trail from the butterfly that looks much better in person

Inside the ephemera box - there is a Gandhi quote "be the change you want to see in the world" stamped on there that didn't show up well in the photo. The ephemera includes some paper punches of paper that I dyed as well as random "cuter" items that the girls thought that their cousin would like.


I am really please with how the gift turned out, I just hope that she understands it...
