I made this for my brother's girlfriend for christmas..she really liked it  Grin

It's from the Japanese flower pattern featured on the blog Attic24 (http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/2011/02/japanese-flower-scarf.html), theres a link to the chart in that post and I worked the pattern out from that (I also discovered this photo tutorial, http://revlie.typepad.com/revolution/2011/06/japanese-flower-tutorial-picture-by-picture-you-can-do-this.html once I'd finished making my scarf, while I was looking for something else...typical isn't it!)

That is GORGEOUS!!!  I've been looking for a crochet project to do over winter break and I think I've found it, thanks to your inspiration.  The colors are beautiful!

Thanks, I used the recipients favorite colours, she was wearing a turquoise jumper and blue jewellery when she came through the door on christmas day...she's too easy to make stuff for!

Aw, I love everything Japanese flower, and a scarf sounds like an awesome idea - I bet your friend couldn't stop draping it! Great winter colors!
