I am running a marathon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - the Women's Nike Marathon. I would like to have donated hand crafted items to post on eBay for sale where all of the proceeds would go to the Society.

If you would like to participate, email me for more information.

If you'd like to support the Society, just follow this link:

I also look forward to all other suggestions in fundraising.

Thanks,
Latoya

Thanks for contacting me again, Patti. I think that's a good idea. I've sent you the address to mail the quilts to in the email.

Thanks again,

Hello all. The Leukemia Society needs your help!

Every year many children are diagnosed with blood cancers and through the Society more research is able to be conducted. The Society also helps them to cope and get through it while also offering support to their families.

You can help with your donated crafted items or monetary donations - every little bit helps.

I'm running a marathon to make people more aware of this cause and look to my fellow crafsters for assistance to continue the struggle for more research.

You can visit the site: http://http://www.active.com/donations/fundraise_public.cfm?key=tntscflLBrown
or you can email me: latoyadenise@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Latoya in Florida

I have t-shirts in various sizes for babies. They promote
breastfeeding and have messages such as:

One Happy Breastfed Baby (Infant sizes of 6, 12, and 18 months)
and
Pumped Up On Breastmilk (Toddler sizes of 2, 4, and 6)
and
I Still Take My Milk Fresh From the Tap (Infant sizes as above)

I'm selling them for $20 each (includes the shipping) in order to
benefit the Leukemia Society's quest for cures.

If you'd like more information, e me at: latoyadenise@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Latoya in Florida

I thank those that have made items and have sent them. When I receive them I'll let you all know how the auction goes.

For those that would like to donate some of their crafty items to the Leukemia Society, just email me at: latoyadenise@yahoo.com

Still, for those that would like to donate go to:
http://www.active.com/donations/fundraise_public.cfm?key=tntscflLBrown

Remember, even $10 goes a long way!

Patti, I just received the baby blanket in the mail and it is beautiful. I really thank you for sending the blanket despite your ankle issues.

Thanks again and I'll keep you posted on the auction,

Latoya,  I just came accross your posts tonight.  My Dad has Leukemia, and I do contribute to everything....even in a team for Relay for Life that is extreamly active.  I wish you the best and hope you are able to raise a lot of money!  Take care and God Bless!

Thanks Gracie for the encouragement. I just ran this morning - 5.48 miles and I'm pumped to complete this marathon and continue raising the funds. If you or anyone else you know would like to donate here's the link:
