A staple of all Christmas dinners, the dreaded Brussel Sprout! I don't know anyone who eats them any other time of the year but it isn't Christmas without them.
A few weeks ago I saw a heart shaped wreath with sprouts on it in a magazine I was smitten and this weekend set about making my own. I had a wire circle from a previous years wreath and wrapped it in some natural green tinsel.
I then peeled the sprouts and shoved a skewer through the middle of them and then used pipe cleaners (as I had no wire to hand and wasn't going out in the cold to get some) and wrapped them around and viola..one brussel sprout wreath.

It makes me smile! must get a huge red bow for it now!!
sorry about the crappy photo
merry christmas

I laughed out loud when I saw this...brussel sprouts are the ONLY veggie I will not eat...they smell like stinky feet to me...your wreath is a way better way to get rid of them, I mean, use them up in a nice way! Cheesy

very funny and clever!! (and I had no idea what a beautiful green they are when you don't have to cook them...)

It's weird, I know, but I LOVE Brussel sprouts - they're so cute - little baby cabbages!  And I love your wreath - very clever, and it looks yummy to me!!  HA!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
