Made these with baby.sweets4ever last night (who is now 3, wow!). It was a great activity for counting, shapes, colors and just all around crafting fun. They'll be gifts for his grandparents for Christmas.

The glue is still a bit wet in my photos, but I couldn't wait to share.
Supplies:Frame
Colorful beads, tiles, etc. -- I used glass, but plastic would work just as well.
Glue -- I used glue that dries clear, so the finished windows aren't cloudy.
Brush
Super glue (optional for hanging)
Suction cups (optional for hanging)
Steps:Organize your supplies. Swoon over the pile of shiny objects before you.

Remove the back of the frame. Brush a thin layer of glue over the entire glass surface.
(not pictured)
Get to playing! Let the kiddos go crazy with glass and beads.

Momentarily throw your sustained attention span aside. Stack the shiny objects into towers instead.

Get back to the task at hand.

Optional for hanging. Super glue suction cups to the back of your frame. Use four, if your finished project is pretty heavy and you're paranoid it might fall (like I am

).

Fresh off the craft table last night.

This AM in the (dreary Ohio) sunlight!

This project was 110% inspired by Play at Home Mom's
window art blog post. She rocks!
