I bought the purple orchids at Claire's for an absurd amount of money knowing I could make it myself, but needed them that night.  So, the days following I did just that.  Basically, I completely take the silk flowers apart and hot glue each layer back together.  Then I glue the leaves on the other side of the clip since the glue doesn't adhere to the metal and I'm too impatient to wait for a glue that would  Wink  Anyway, super easy and fun to make.  Also, the yellow daisies are painted with yellow glitter fabric paint just because I love sparkles!

Super cute! I love the glitter, and they look like a good project for glue gunners....

This totally deserves more kudos! It's such a great idea Smiley I did this back in 2010 for a photoshoot I was doing. We wanted tonnes of flowers in the models hair but flower hair clips are SO EXPENSIVE! And to buy loads? Well I'd be poor! So I went to the local charity shop, bought a 1 bunch of artificial flowers, washed & dried them, popped them off the stems and hot glued them to kirby grips and they were great!

Here's one shot with some of mine Cheesy
