My friend Amanda picked out the fabric (I don't know if I like it or not, which is the main reason I haven't used it), but then never paid up. So I'm stuck with this purse, and I thought I'd brag a bit.

It's quilted, the sides are padded with batting, and the bottom has cardboard in it to stop warping. It's lined in pink satin.

(I sewed the seams straight, but the scanner smooshed it. Tongue)

..The first purse I made was for myself. It's half chicken material and half lava lamp. Both calico from JoAnn's. I love it so much. Needs some repairing where the cardboard was shoved in too tightly, but it's easy to fix. I've made about 6 of these, for various friends and things. They're getting better every time. Seams are tighter and everything. I'm happy Smiley

They're fun to make! Only take about an hour and a half!
