Hello dear Craftsters!

I've been watching your wonderful creations for quite some time, and now I decided to show you some of my bags. Making bags is one of my hobbies, I even started a blog about it. I actually started sewing bags not so long ago - at the beginning of the summer. The bag in this thread was one of the first ones I ever made and the one I use mostly. Materials: an old skirt and faux leather. I hope you like it Smiley

oh, very nice.. love how you did the handles.

I too have got into sewing bags since this summer.  Haven't tried faux leather yet, but soon I hope..

CMFoster - thank you for a nice comment Smiley

hax - thank you. Those handles are very comfortable (I will probably make a bag with them in the future). And you should definitely try faux leather - it gives so many opportunities to be creative! Smiley

Very cute!  Was the faux leather hard to work with?  I haven't tried yet but I really want to!

AshtonagoL - thank you! Faux leather is not very hard to work with (sometimes it's even easier than regular fabric), but I can't sew many layers of it Smiley

Love the style, and the size! I too am really nervous about sewing with faux leather- it looks so thick and difficult!!
