Thanks all:)
I did it in front of a bunch of episodes of The Walking Dead, appropriately enough.
I looked at an image of a skull from the net for reference and used long strips to make the outline then filled it in with swirls and stuff.
I can't wait to have time to try more but it will have to wait until after Christmas because I am doing some other quilling for Christmas gifts. I'll post those when they are done:)
