Happy Holidays, everyone!  If you're into stockings, then you've likely seen my Button Encrusted Christmas Stocking I posted last year.  It's been a whole year already almost and I still can't believe I made Best Of 2010 for it Smiley  Thanks for all your support!

So, in keeping with my holiday spirit each year, and joining the next round of the Stocking Swap (number 7 now!)...I have made another epic stocking for my partner, oneredboot.

I give you.....the Teesha Moore Christmas stocking!

This stocking was awesome to put together, 100% HAND SEWN for each patch and assembling front to back.  The only items that were machine stitched were the inside backing on the front and the back front/back pieces to make up the back side of the stocking.  All buttons and embellishments are hand sewn as well.  Front and back pieces were blanket stitched together with coordinating colored embroidery floss.

Here's a few closeups on the patches, click for a larger picture in my photo hosting:

Of course, my fave patch is the button Christmas tree, followed closely by the ornaments outlined in gold, the felt snowflake with seed bead detail, and the ribbons outlined in gold Smiley

Thanks so much for looking, C&C welcome!

I looove the stocking! Dumb question- How do you attach each pillow/square together? Whipstitch with a different color? I don't "see" the attachment of two different squares! Looks hidden, which is good.

Thanks so much for all the kind comments, everyone Smiley  This really was a lot of work and a lot of time, but so worth it for the fabulous end result!

Yes, each pillow is attached to the others with whipstitch of either the same or a different color.  Because of some of the prints and colors in them, it does look more hidden on here for most of the squares.
