Recycled Magazine Wall Art (+how-to link)

I wasn't really sure of where to post this, then ended up here. 
This is a fairly old project of mine, that I didn't share here, and I thought now is good time to do it!


A magazine wall art!
the whole thing laid on bed, the edges are not finished off when the picture was taken
I made 29 rows, 101 pieces long each, so I used 2929 pieces, which are 11,5x5,2 cm (should have been10,5x5, but I can't measure properly) big... It took me about 3 moths, of course I wasn't making it 24/7... )

Even closer with flash, so nothing can be seen properly...

I remember making the chains from Starburst wrappers, but never thought to use magazines to make art! I'm going to search for old magazines now...

nice and GIANT!!! fabu;lous project . I would like to try it since hubby says i need to get rid of all my piles and piles of magazines, maybe if i have enough left over from my 1000 origami cranes project
