I don't believe you ladies. During the summer I asked where all the spinners where and Bella excused them saying it's too hot to spin and now that it's 9 days before Christmas I'm still not seeing Yarns. There wasn't even any last week! Sure, I've only spun 1 yarn recently but hey, I've been busy. And lazy. I can do that I have a baby in me.
Here she is:
Silk, Merino, Angelina, plied with straight wool. Tried for the first being more wrapped around the wool, like a semi-corespun coily whatever, but that didn't really work too well, especially when I wrapped it on the Niddy Noddy. I'm spinning another bobbin of just the white wool to use as for a core on what I'm hoping will be a real corespun (as in I'm not spinning the other fiber before wrapping it like I did on this one) but we'll see how that works. Anywho, here she is:

I'm working on selling 2 of my wheels right now. Considering selling the 3rd. So no spinning.

That yarn is pretty.  I'm trying to get up the motivation to teach myself to spin, but it's intimidating.  These posts are inspiring, though.

I just realized.... I have spun something this week! ha!  Will take pics and post tomorrow if I can find the time.... I've got a holiday party to go to, which requires that I make pie.  And lots of it.  And egg nog.   I'll at the very least to find time for picture taking Smiley

That looks gorgeous. I hope to have a car soon and be able to get to my studio, where my spinning wheel is. I miss her so.

Jexx, that is gorgeous!

I have not had much time for spinning the last few weeks, but I have a Babe Bulky Production wheel now. Santa let me have it early. It is driving me nuts that I'm too busy to use it right now. I've played a little bit, and it spins like a dream, just don't have a finished yarn yet.

I need to make an art yarn for the Decades of Fashion challenge on FaceBook. It is due on the 31st. If I get it done, it will be right under the wire. I won't have much spinning time until the 28th or 29th. Still thinking of what I will spin. My decade is the 1890's. Have some ideas, but need to gather my extras to go with the wool. Smiley

Hey thanks for the compliments everyone. I've kind of been on spinning hiatus these past few months but now I have ideas and I can't get them done fast enough! Mostly because I have 2 more Christmas presents to finish before I can start them. And housework, bah, f***ing housework... I did get some of that yucky overspun horrible horrible first-spins that I inherited somehow dyed last night (with syringes and the kids, fun!) and I plan on having it unspun, respun, and somehow maybe plied by next week. Taking progress shots all the way! But first I need to finish the corespun I'm working on. But first I need to finish this pegasus and this Chevelle... But first i need to...
Lark, an 1890's inspired yarn sounds amazing. Will there be lace involved?
Megan, DO IT! I recommend starting on a spindle. So many great videos and tutorials out there and if you need help you have a whole family of spinners right here just waiting to suck you in get you addicted help you learn.
Antsy, why are you selling? Please explain. I just can't understand this bout of insanity!
Bella, I'm WAIting!
