My husband insists on having all of our DVDs on display (like trophies), while I would rather get rid of the boxes and put them in a book to save space and hide the ugliness.  Oh, well...you can't win them all.  So I decided to pretty it up a bit to make it more bareable.  I bought some wooden letters from Michael's and painted them red to work with the colors in our apartment.  Then I hot glued them to black wooden bases, so the words can be switched around.  Then I topped it off with some wedding photos.

What is up with the need men have to display all of their crap?? If my husband had his way, his shoes would be lined up outside of the closet and my beautiful Buddha statue in the entry way would be used as a hat rack. He's the same way with his DVDs, too! Dust collectors, I call 'em. Hmph. I really like what you've done to prettify your situation!
