I can only echo what everyone else has already said in this thread, this is both a beautiful piece of art and craftsmanship aswell as a beautiful way to remember someone who was obviously held dearly in the hearts of many people. I work in an intensive care unit and so I see people on a day to day basis who are praying for their loved ones, in fact I often get to know relatives and friends better than the patients themselves, during my short 2year career I have seen people cope in a variety of ways but this is truely original and inspirational. I wish you well and I'm really sorry for your loss.

It is indeed beautiful...so glad that you made something creative that will help you with your grief...I am sorry you lost your special person... so many people were thinking of Simon by making cranes...a lovely tribute

I think your idea of burning the remaining cranes is also a good one...I hope it, too, will help you heal and find peace...

I'm so sorry. This is a beautiful tribute and I love the way you have it displayed. I also have folded 1,000 cranes, but my display is very different. I prefer yours.
