Every year I recycle my Christmas cards into: more Christmas cards!

I buy envelopes, card stock, glue and some drawing pens, everything else is rescued from the recycling bin or has been given to me. This would be about a quarter of this year's stock.

What a great idea, it makes little sense to buy new every year, what a waste of money/resources. I always spend the months post holidays wondering what to do with them before eventually lobbing them into the recycling bin in frustration.

You seem to have a flare for making xmas cards over, I can never see past their initial design to re-do them. Maybe this year!

They do look good!

I do the same thing...I even take the freebie cards sent to the office...if they are really ugly, you can always paint or paper over them and make new art...there is no right or wrong here...

and, wow...what a stash you had!

Awesome! I did this a few years ago for the cards I sent out, but didn't have enough time this year (life has been hard...) Yours look great! I rather like the free cards sent out by different charities as well. They're perfect for being customized.

That must have taken forever, but don't you feel better now that you've (temporarily) cleared all that stuff out?

It's always good to get them done & out of the way Smiley And yes, it does take a while: 2 or 3  8hr days, or a week of evenings.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words.
