Im holding a contest on my blog this month but for the amount of people that looked at it, there's only very few entries (all of whom I know personally). I dont know if this is because people are just not interested (fair enough if so) or if Im bad at making rules and advertising.

Thats the link, and the info says to enter leave a comment, and for extra entries they can tweet, or join the fb page, and a few other things, which is the same thing I see other people doing. Would anyone mind giving some (constructive) criticism if theres anything that I should simplify/clarify in the post? Thanks a lot.

I haven't even read the rules, but I can tell you what the problem is: you don't have enough people reading your blog. Your other blog posts have very few comments. A contest will not boost your ratings at this point. That's just the way it is. A typical marketing response to anything is 2-3%. When you don't have a foundation of faithful followers, it's less than that. You're committed to giving the neat dino away now, but I wouldn't hold more contests unless you just love giving stuff away.
