I've been working on some paper dolls. Cheesy This is the first one I finished, Odette from Swan Lake

This is all her parts before they were assembled.

And here she is all finished up.

I used mini brads from Michaels to articulate her joints.

I posted a few more in-progress pictures on my blog too, but nothing too fancy.  I want to make a matching Odile and maybe some kind of backdrop for the dolls. :3 Brainstorming ideas for it this week.

I'm thinking about making downloadable dolls in the future that people can print, color, cut and assemble themselves.

Very well drawn/designed; Odette came out beautifully!  I didn't know you could get brads with star-shaped heads, instead of circles, either--that's pretty cool.

It is! They make larger brads that have gems in them too. From the brand recollections at michaels. Smiley

I love how copic markers look, but my skills are not good enough to justify the expense, yet. I'll practice my shading with colored pencils for now, and maybe someday I can make the investment!
