Hey everybody! Merry Christmas! I have not posted in FOREVER because I have been so incredibly swamped for this Holiday season. But I am taking a tiny little break to post some things just because I need a little escape from the dang sewing machine tonight, and Craftster is my destressing oasis. lol.

I joined the Holiday Ninni swap specifically to do some Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. My partner SkyDamsel and I were put together purposefully because we both decorated our houses in the theme of the movie. I started with a Santa Jack Skellington Ninni, but I just was not pleased with him, and then I saw my striped fabric and ended up with a Jack Ninni monster! Then I knew he needed Sally, so I cut and pieced her dress pattern together in the shape of the ninni pattern using felt. After that, the swap required one small crafted item, so it was only natural the Zero was born. Zero has a string so he can be hung on tree as an ornament. I wish I would have made a pattern so I could make myself one! Oh well, I am sure I can figure it out again! Smiley

"What's this?!"

I am so glad Sky liked them and I hope you do too! Thanks for looking and this year, Christmas will be ours!!!

Love the little doggie creature! Ack. If we weren't so close to Christmas I'd suggest a make my kid a gift swap. You'd have to be the kid of course. I knew this was your work before I even opened the thumbnail.

Thanks, Paulette! Yes, too bad it is so close. That would have been fun! But if I took on any more stuff right now I would have to cry. lol. Maybe next year or for another event!! You know I am just a kid at heart and would accept any of your fantastic toys or amazing dolls! Smiley

Thank you, you guys! I really appreciate it! I love that The Nightmare Before Christmas touches so many people. My dad and I built a 12 foot tall Jack Skellington for my roof and he just finished a matching hovering Zero that now dangles off the roof. I think they need to stay up there forever. Cheesy
