I've been soaping almost two years now but don't know if I've ever even posted any photos here.

Meet Bare Nesta, a 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil soap I cut earlier this afternoon.  This is the second castile I've attempted.

Looks absolutely yummy! I gotta say, I love the look, feel, and smell of 100% unscented olive oil soaps Smiley

Recently I started using the castile from the previous batch to brush my teeth.  I'm loving the glossy feeling.

Thanks.

I'd like to try creating some packaging now.

As a doll clothes maker, I am so jealous of soap-makers' ability to make such simple, beautiful packaging.  Hope to see what you come up with!  I'm so fond of paper wrappers, and twine, and homemade-looking paper... I have to find a way to incorporate them into my own stuff lol

!!  Really.  I'm intrigued.  It doesn't taste weird?
Lovely soaps, lady!  They look so luxurious.

It does taste different.  I use an electric toothbrush and it gives off a low but dense foam.  Imagine yourself smelling castile soap and then translate it into taste.  There is also a bit of a bitter aftertaste but it's not so bad.  I'll perhaps try to experiment with some safe flavours but as is, I really don't mind it.

That is BEAUTIFUL castile soap! So pure and not oily-looking at all! How long did you let it cure before using it? I'm scared to make a castile soap, because of the horror stories as to it being an oily mess for so long!
