I'd second this... I make chainmail and it's def not always jewelry - and I'm wanting to learn to weld really bad!

I'm working on a revised 'idiot's delight' chain for myself and some piecework for a leather artist friend right now...
I think we might be in the (non jewelry) metal minority tho, so I guess we're gonna be stuck with Misc Comp Projects for a while till lots more folk pipe up Sad

Now that I've found where all your metal workers hang out - can I ask - where did you learn metalsmithing? I want to learn desperately how to make beautiful metal crafts, but I cant seem to find any courses near me (vancouver, BC, maybe I'm googling it all wrong).

Tips? Suggestions?
