Harold and his purple crayon

I created this hoop for my partner blushingbluegrass in the Stocking swap. She had wisted several Harold pieces so I couldn't resist.

He's crayon tinted and worked in stem and split stitches.

He is so awesome! I love him and he's so perfect. Harold and the Purple Crayon is my son's and my husband's favorite children's book. I love this idea. I may have to steal it.

How awesome! I love Harold and his purple crayon, and I always wonder why that book doesn't get the attention it deserves. And of course he's crayon tinted... well done T!
