I'm noticing a lot of Beatle fans and Beatle related projects in here so I thought I would try to get them all in one place.

So...show us your Beatle stuff!

This was my first project ever... a simple iron on I made for my son. He is a huge Beatle fan and all of these were done either for or by him.

Next, the Beatles - Yellow Submarine action figures I made for him.

Updated to add this pic:

And these next two are drawings that he did. His prefered medium is crayons on notebook paper.  Grin

I'll add more later. Next!

Wow...you and your son are SO cool. Those drawings are wonderful, they even look kind of psychedelic! How did you make the Yellow Submarine figures? They're so cute.
Smart of you to get your son into the Beatles. My parents had me listening to the Beatles when I was pretty small and I think they were grateful not to have to listen to the Smurfs and the Chipmunks records anymore....
I don't have any Beatles crafts...but here's a picture of John Lennon drawn when I was learning how to use a Wacom tablet.

This is off-topic, but if you spend a lot of time on a computer, especially drawing on one...the Wacom tablet pretty much cured my Carpal Tunnel. I highly recommend.

More Beatles projects please! (too bad I botched the Revolver shirt I tried to make...or I'd have more to post myself)

I'm totally loving the little cartoon guys!  (are their faces just ironed on??)

This is the link to my Beatles cross stitch http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=33175.0

I have more, but haven't got around to taking pictures.  I also have a Beatles table, a couple tote bags, backpack, purse, quilt, and some other things I've made.  All hapily awaiting their turn with teh digital camera.  I'll try to take some pictures later this week.

Yes, the faces are ironed on. The bodies are premade doll bodies I found at Michael's. I just had to stuff them and sew the openings closed. I got the cartoon faces from the internet and printed them on iron on fabric. The suits I just did freehand with fabric markers. The first one took me like 8 hours. By the time I got to the last I had it down to about 45 minutes total.

We were watching A Hard Days Night when I was working on the first one. My 18 year old niece, who had heard of but never really seen the Beatles, thought that Ringo was totally cute and asked I'd make her a Ringo, so she got one for her birthday. Smiley

I've been thinking about doing a Sgt. Pepper set but I'm a little leary about starting something so ambitious.

I've seen your bag, it's awesome. I was at Target just the other day looking at their Beatle t-shirts. I wanted to buy one just so I could rip it up and turn it into something else but it just seemed wrong to pay retail for that.  Tongue
