Hi,

My husband once had some shaped Christmas ties, but they seem to have been lost.  So, being a tie-maker, I am trying to decide how to make shaped Christmas ties.  Some potential ties that would have this shape at the end of the front of the tie:  stocking, Christmas tree, snowman.

I saw one tie with Christmas ornaments that were sort of stacked up the front of the tie.  Some of the shaped ties that I viewed online seem to be typical ties with the tree ect sewn on the middle of the tie.

I am thinking of making the shaped part and the first half of the tie, then sewing on the upper part.  OR as I am thinking, maybe make the tie, as usual, just cut the bottom part in a shape.

thanks for any tips/ideas
