Hi everyone! I made this little guy a while back for a personal swap, and ever since then I thought having a "stuffie with a purpose/function" swap would be a lot of fun.

"What's his purpose?" you might be asking yourself....

He's a lip balm caddy! I sewed a pocket in his head the perfect size of a chapstick. (even silly functions count!!)

I also received this awesomeness from suereal, which I think is also a "stuffie with a function:"

His function?

He's a needle book!! (oh and the little log is a pin cushion  Smiley)

So what do you all think? I was thinking about starting this the beginning of January. It'd be my first time organizing... I'd love a co-organizer to help me out!!

I'd also love to hear ideas for "functional stuffies" everyone!

I think its a fabulous idea!  I'd help out as a co-organizer, too, if needed.  I'm on my second swap as an organizer, so I do have a little experience now.  ^_^

Cool idea!! I think stuffies can be really cute, but I don't have room in my house for them unless they are masquerading as Serious Useful Objects.

And tiny is good too. Smiley

Yay for practical stuffies! I love making stuffie-esque things that one can carry around all the time- after all, the world hardly ever gets to see what's on your shelf at home Wink The beginning of the year is the perfect time to create something silly that will accompany you everywhere, so count me in Grin

I'm so excited! This will be a lot of fun. Thanks for the offer to help out jillybeans!

So how about sign ups the first week in January and then a month to create. One week for sign ups is long enough, right? I know usually everyone is so eager for partners... two weeks just seems like forever to go by!!
