Okay now I get it.  (was having a little problem with the function part for some reason)  Yes I would totally go for this one.

do magnets count as a function?

I think they absolutely could count as a function, depending on how they are used and depending on what your partner likes. Maybe the magnets are in the hands and legs so the stuffie could grab onto and hold something... maybe he keeps crochet hooks together or holds all your black sharpies in a bunch so you know where they are when you need them. Does that make sense? I just really want people to be challenged to turn stuffies into something "useful" and not just cute to look at! (useful is in quotes because it can be a pretty silly purpose- who really needs a coozie for their chapstick?!)

I guess my main though is a stuffie that does something other than just be a stuffie!

Potential ideas:
stuffie drink holders
stuffies with secret pockets to hold, well, secret things  Cheesy
stuffie hair clips/jewelry/wearable art
ipod holders

Really, I'm sure once people are partnered up and you see what the other person likes to do etc. it'll be easy to think of a stuffie that will help them out in some way  Cheesy

This is kind of stretching it, but I think something like a "worry doll" could count as a function. You tell your problems to the stuffie and it takes them away for you Smiley Too far astray from the theme?

Well, I guess that could be a function... I was thinking more of a utilitarian type function....  Smiley

Ahhh! Here y'all are Grin

I think there will be a fight to get into this one.  So I would put money on it closing in a few days, which means I think a week would be just right for sign ups.

I do think some folks would use a worry doll, which means it is functional to some....but the key is some.  If your partner might not be into that, then it looses it's function Grin...is how I'd think of it.....
