My grandmother loves playing cards she always has to bring it up when I visit her. For her 76 birthday I decided to make her a family deck of cards. Each number has a different family member associated with it and their are four pictures of each family member except for the queen cards which are group pictures.
Their are made in Photoshop and printed out on white card stock they are then laminated to stay nice when being played or looked at a million times.

Here is a full picture of all of the cards

What a novel idea. Very personal, very well executed. Have you given them to her yet? Does she loooooove them?

Oh my goodness!! I love this idea. I wish I had thought of it for my Dad's b-day on Sunday. He'd adore something like this.

We wanted to do this for our family, but suddenly people started procreating, 3 kids were born in one year, and we were too many to fit on one deck of cards!

I love this idea!  Can't wait for a laminator!  I keep telling the kids and hubby I want one for Christmas!

I gave it to her last night and she loved them spent over 20 minutes looking at the cards over and over again.

What a great idea! They look awsome. What kind of laminator did you use?

Ivoryh1632:  a Scotch laminator from Walmart it worked fast and my family was able to touch the cards after a minute.

Thanks! I've been wanting to get one of those little laminators for a while but I don't know anyone that has one so I didn't knwo which were good. That one's a pretty good price too.
