I love how versatile the pieces are! Making some of the pieces reversible...dirt turned into mountains...I am sure Levi will come up with more ways to use all of the pieces in ways we adults can't even imagine!
Good job for giving him the building blocks for creative play...maybe when he gets older you could do bats for his cave...a castle with knights and a drawbridge!...some sort of planets mobile for his earth scene...
He is one lucky kiddo to have such a creative mom...congrats!

I LOVE THIS!! Great job!!!
What about a zoo scene? or trains? You could also prop the board up and use it as a felt board to illustrate stories. I made my son a felt board so we can practice counting. I made felt ice cream cones and each has a different number of sprinkles we can count. (someone elses idea. lots of wonderful felt board ideas out there in internetland)

This is so COOL! I don't have a kid...but I want to make me a play table now! You could do so many things with it...I would want a deep sea felt play table
SO I guess I guess I would suggest a city Aquarium along side the Zoo. Maybe when he gets taller and can look at the Aquarium from above....Lucky lucky kid..and *applause* for Mom

OH...... MY...... WORD! I cannot hit "this rocks" enough times! This is just an endless table of creativity. I felt like I was on vacation just scrolling through all the different scenes. Either that or I was hopping through all the Zombie Farms (Farmville-like game) of various friends on Facebook, LOL! I cannot believe how many layouts you managed to package up into that little play-tivity table... and all so NEAT and TIDY! I never would have guessed that you had so much packed into those little crates and tubs. Every little piece is perfect and creative. I love the fact that you made "flip felt" for multiple different scenes and things. You can never have too many multi-use toys/tools! The picking carrots (and farmer rows) are awesome, too.... the felt reminds me of something we used to play with as kids. It was called "Fuzzy Felts"... (Anyone else have those as a kid?) It was a little cardboard-like felt rectangle and it came with all kinds of tiny die-cut like felt bits that you arranged on the rectagle to create your "picture". It all stuck and when you got tired of your picture you just peeled it up and made a new scene. Anyway... I tend to waffle... and I am afraid my limit has probably been reached, HAHA! I cannot help it... your kid is very lucky and I am super impressed!

Thanks everyone! Levi is loving his play table. I made him a winter scene too with some wood penguins and a plastic polar bear I found, and some "ice cubes", the rocks that I had from before, and a white that flips to gray background. He has come up with some more ideas too, but first I need to make an Egypt theme one!
