While I'm sure she loved everything, I can't help but wander what happened. Did she squeal out in excitement? Which wand was her favorite? Has she been showing everyone the cool things her mom and dad made since opening her amazing gift?

Well, she isn't a squeally girl. She's very quiet, even when super excited. But... her eyes got humungous, and I think her cheeks cracked from smiling. She wears one of the necklaces or the time turner to school every day, wears the hat non-stop, and loves the wand her Dad made the best.

The magical me journal and quick quotes quill... This is the funniest, in my opinion. Every day she writes a quick quote in the journal with the quill... as true to form to Rita Skeeter as she can. (Which is turning out to be a great creative writing exercise!) It gets to be pretty hilarious, even when you are the subject of her quote!

And yes, she's been telling all her friends and bringing things to school to show them. =) Made me feel good about the gift!
