Somewhere online (sorry, I don't remember where) I saw a blog post where someone turned a hinged box into a travel dollhouse with peg dolls.  I knew I wanted to make my 3 year old daughter something similar but it needed to be something different, something special to match my wonderful daughter's unique personality.  Aria is obsessed with pirates, skulls, and anatomy.  I decided to go with pirates.   The others might have come off less fun preschooler toy and more serial killer in training kit.  yeah...

The ship in all her glory.

And here is the outside of the box...

Everything dissembles and packs down neatly inside the box...

Fish for dinner!

Its the pirates life for me!

Yo ho ho!

Thanks for checking out my toy!

It's not a mistake. It's...um...a design feature.

Thanks everyone!  Cheesy

Alwaysinmyroom, the fish are made from paperclay.  I have some odd little press that I got in a swap a bit ago that allows you me to make fish.  This seemed a perfect application.  Cheesy
