I had a Harry Potter themed party for my 25th birthday in 2010 (better late than never!)

The pictures don't really do it justice.

The Food:

The Slytherin Dungeon:

Forbidden Forest:

Not Pictured- Room of Requirement (bathroom) with ERISED written on it.  Front door: Platform 9 3/4

Was it as much fun as it looks? What a grand idea.

It was a blast.  Everyone came in costume.  The food was super yummy.  I dressed as (lady) Harry (of course) and my best friend dressed up as Ginny.  My husband dressed up like He who must not be named and my (male) best friend dressed like Sirius.  It was perfect.

I can tell you would have fun, although I have to ask. Wouldn't eating Dragon eggs be a crime? LOL

Also love the Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey bottle on the butterbeer table. I have a small bottle of that on my desk at home. I toast with a swig Eureka moments of inspiration. Thankfully, I am not often Eureka style inspired that much to where I am a drunk nor a lush. ROFLMAO

what a great idea for a party.  I love your spiderwebs but your spider is truly horrible. Shocked  Super food too.  Thanks for all the pictures

Like any good party, there had to be some forbidden treats Wink

I still have the bottle of whisky, it was way too much for me. The Jelly slugs are gummy worms soaked in vodka, no one could do more than a couple, they really absorbed the vodka.  By the next morning it turned into a vodka jelly mess LOL.  The butterbeer was also alcoholic.

We tried to make every area of the house, a different room.  The porch (where the alcohol was) was the Three Broomsticks.  The spider webs were fun to put up.  I think the Spider really sealed the deal! LOL

Thanks everyone!

Great job. Particularly like the fire in the tv very clever  Smiley last year my daughters friend had a harry potter party and I had to sew a cape and make a stripy tie overnight for her to be Hermione!
